PROJECT ORION: The Future of European FinTech Powered by AI Agents

At Payout, we are constantly looking for ways to break down barriers in the digital financial world. Today, we are excited to introduce our latest project ORION (Orchestrated Rapid Integration & Onboarding Network). It is a groundbreaking initiative that harnesses the power of a multi-agent artificial intelligence system to forever change the way financial services are integrated in the European Union.
Why was ORION created?
Although the European Union operates as a single market, the reality for FinTech companies is different. We face a so-called "bureaucratic tsunami" – a mosaic of different national regulations, technical standards, and digital identity systems. What works in Bratislava may not apply in Berlin or Stockholm.
As a result, integrating new financial services today is:
- Slow: Requires lengthy legislative analysis.
- Expensive: Employs teams of programmers and lawyers.
- Manual: Lacks effective automation to connect different banking worlds.
What is the project's goal?
Project ORION is developing an intelligent network of AI agents that will take over the entire integration process. This system can autonomously:
- Analyze the market and legislative compliance according to regulations such as DORA or GDPR.
- Generate integration code and test it in a safe environment (sandbox).
- Deploy the solution into production and subsequently monitor it.
Everything operates on the principle of compliance-by-design, meaning that security and regulatory compliance are built directly into the system's DNA.
Who is it for?
Our goal is to validate this prototype in real-world conditions on at least two fintech services. The result will become part of our Embedded Finance Market (EFM) platform, significantly facilitating access to modern payment tools, loans, and insurance for small and medium-sized enterprises across the entire EU.
"We believe that technology should not be an obstacle to growth, but its accelerator. ORION is our answer to Europe's fragmentation. We want to prove that intelligent systems can connect the European financial space faster and more securely than ever before."
